MAUI, HAWAII

Vacation to Hawaii Hey everyone! Virona is back with another adventure. This vacation is very special though because it was the furthest trip I’ve ever taken and first time flying overseas! This is our vacation to Hawaii. For this post I will be sharing the experience overall and a few helpful tips. There are so many experiences that it’s so hard to pick out the best ones, so I’m just going to start from the beginning. This trip was planned to celebrate The 4th year anniversary of Rodrigo and I. (May 30th) We wanted it to be super special so we wanted to go somewhere something overseas! We decided Hawaii and immediately started saving. After a bit of research and YouTube videos, Our choice of island was Maui. Maui is known more for the nature and relaxation somewhere like Oahu or the big island are more tourist and party areas. Rodrigo recommended that we use a travel agent to be more organized, and that made the entire trip so much more convenient and completely stress free. Our quote stated that we had to pay about 3100 total for the two of us. This came with flight tickets for round trip, hotel cost, and a car rental for 5 days.We planned this trip about five months in advance and saved around 200$ each per paycheck. It took us about 5 months for us both to have the amount we were needing and a bit extra. Our flight was with Delta Airlines and our destination was on the west side of Maui. (Lahaina area) Fast forward to having everything ready About two weeks before the vacation we had saved up everything we needed. We made an amazon wishlist over time and added things to buy on it. This was a good time to make our purchases so it would arrive on time for the trip. Here’s a little list of what we bought on amazon and found really useful to have on the vacation.. Waterproof phone cases Hand grip (basically a selfie stick for our GoPro) Snorkeling masks

We also bought other miscellaneous things over time before the two weeks such as shampoo, lotion/sunscreen, swimwear ect. The two weeks came by and we had everything all packed just in time. WE WERE READY FOR OUR TRIP! It was my first flight ever so I was a bit nervous and didn’t know what to expect. I was so nervous because of the anticipation, but when we ended up being high up in the air I was actually fascinated. It was very calm and relaxed compared to how I was visualizing it. They provided free drinks and little snacks for the flight.

A and then on the second flight was four hours from LA to Maui. The whole flight took about five hours. One hour from Vegas to LA and then on the second flight was four hours from LA to Maui.
